IN SEARCH OF A WAY OUT
A True Story of Bullying, Depression and A Journey Toward Hope

Bobby gathered every bit of strength he had left—almost none—to get out of bed and go to work. Forty-five years ago, the slow, steady advance of depression had begun, and now it had exploded. The hope he had somehow managed to hold onto for so long had finally withered away. He could no longer see a path forward. All roads closed. Total darkness. Through sheer force of will, Bobby made it to the office, sat down at his desk and turned on the computer. Less than an hour later, emergency personnel carried him out of the office on a stretcher. He was 51 years old. Depression’s triumphant day had finally arrived. The journey had just begun.

READ FIVE STAR REVIEW

“An insightful look at depression:

For anyone wanting to understand those who suffer from depression, this book will give you a true sense of just how difficult life can be for those with depression. And yet the author also provides the reader with a reason for hope. If you know someone suffering from depression, this book will help you understand that person better. And if you are fortunate not to be in this category, this book will give you reason to simply be more patient with those you know and work with, as you never know the pain others may be going through.”
